The big chase down

 I was learning about doing a moment in time writing we watched a video first it was about a Hawk chasing a Squirrel.

I realy enjoyed making the writing because I could be as creative as I want.

I found it challenging to figure out what to write because I only watched the video once so I didn't waste time.

I found it easy to look for the link for our planning because the teachers made it easy.

Next time I will do more writing and make it more detail and make my stems bigger

The big chase down

I am a hawk looking for prey to hunt my stomach is rumbling like a volcano. Suddenly I spotted a Squirrel. I jumped side to side between trees trying to catch it. Suddenly it spotted me so I went even faster. It was too fast. But just when I grabbed it it slipped right out of my hands. It hid inside a big ball of leaves that I crashed into and the Squirrel went flying out. Then I jumped down to the branch that it was on. I got him in a dead end. I charged at him but he squeezed himself inside a hole that was in a tree.

What christmas means to me

Today I learnt how to make your object fully black because curtis teached me how to.

I enjoyed making my animation because it was a challenge for me and I like challenges.

The thing I found hard was making my animation 

There was nothing that was easy because i couldn't think what to write

Fireworks

I was lying on the couch on my phone waiting for something exciting to happen. Suddenly my uncle dropped fireworks on me and told me to come outside. We placed down a firework and my uncle handed me a litter. I went up to the firework and lit it. I got a frite and dropped the litter next to the firework. My uncle grabbed the litter quickly and ran away. It looked cool. There were sparkles coming out of it. We did two more. I got to lite them. I didn't drop the litter luckily.

After that I used a couple sparklers. I bent a bit of the bottom of two sparklers and lit them and spun them around to make circles. It was fun. I did a few more until it got boring. Which took awhile but eventually it happened. Suddenly I had an I dear I wanted to make my own firework from sparklers.

I grabbed a sparkler and crumbled it on the ground. After that I crumbled a couple more and lit it. It looked super cool but it didn't last long after that I touched it and it was super hot. I made another one. It took awhile but I eventually I did it and it also looked cool. It lasted longer than my first one.

As I was grabbing a  green and hard helmet the bike teachers started talking to the other students. Because today we were going to  do the skills track. We have three tracks the main track, the pump track and the skilled track. We were allowed to do a lap of the main track then we were allowed to go on the skilled track.

After that harsh lap we  were allowed to go on the skilled track there were only three people allowed at a time on the skilled track which sucked but it's for safety reasons. When I went on it there was a small ramp that was easy to do then it was the seesaw which was very nerve racking. After the seesaw it was time for another small ramp when I went to turn and go on it I nearly fell. Then it was time for the poles. We had to dodge different wooden poles. It was hard but I made it out alive then there was a small little bridge used to exit.

Next I did the pump track I have done it before and it was really fun. I quickly rode on and stood up on my bike. There were a couple jumps and two big turns it was easy. I did another lap and it was fun. After that we headed back to class.

Camp kaitawa

Finally we were there after that long trip my bag was as heavy as lifting a elephant.Suddenly a bell rang we had to have a meeting the teachers told us what cabins we are in.The girls had one big cabin and four small cabin.each small cabin could fit six people in it and the boys only got a big cabin and a small cabin well there wasn't much year six boys.Luckily I was in the single cabin with thare kia curtis and devan.After we packed our stuff in our cabin it was time to go build a raft.

Me and Jimmy were trying to make like a bike kind of raft.It sank. We ran out of time, it was time to switch activities. Next was kayaking.I went with Ethan. It was fun but nothing much happened.

After that relaxing kayak it was time to go to the obstacle course.Me and Jimmy pared up. We did a walk though to see what we were doing. after that we started first up Jimmy and I jumped side to side on the zig zag jumping stones.After that painful bit we had to balance on a log the log was very slippery and wet.next Jimmy had to boost me up over a wall then we had to do monkey bars Jimmy put me on his shoulders so it would be easier because the monkey bars were wet.After the monkey bars we had to climb this wooden thing but it was really easy after that it was the great and difficult rope wall it actually wasn't that difficult it just took a while.Jimmy and I got a time of two minutes and forty four seconds.We got the fastest time.When we got back to camp I had a nice warm shower.After my shower it was time for dinner.

For dinner we had a bbq it was so delicious.After that it was time for dessert we had ice cream I picked a mixed piece of ice cream. It had strawberry and vanilla and chocolate in it.After dessert everyone went into there cabins to relax until sapa was ready.A few minutes passed and the bell rang it was hard to hear because we were the farest cabin away from the dining room.Everyone in my cabin put there shoes on and walked to the dinning room for sapa.It was yum we ate the home backing from curtis's mum.After that we got ready for bed and fell a sleep.

The Hangi

We were learning about making a piece of writing.

I found it easy to post it onto my blog.

I found it hard to think of what to write. 

Next time i will make it make more sense and put more detail in my writing. 

The Hangi

I was sitting on a wooden chair in the warm out doors.Waiting for the Hangi to come to my magnificent classroom.I smelt the hangi from a mile away it smelt so good and looked even better.We had to line up in a big line all of our little buddies got to go first.

At that moment I wanted to be a little kid.Once I got a paper plate the teachers filled it with a bunch of yummy food ‘I can't wait to dig in’ I said to myself.As soon as I sat down with my friends I just wanted to shove my face in it well that's what i did and it was so GOOD!.

After that amazing sensation in my mouth I grabbed my launch box and I ate whatever was in there.After eating I went to play.

I found it hard to think of what to write.

We were learning about chemicals in sludge and we were learning about making a book review for a book.

I found it easy to think how much stars I should give this book.

I found it challenging to make a polyline of a fums up because you couldn't hylite the thums up that was there.

Next time I will add more information on my book review.

Should milk at awapuni school be banned?

we were writing about banding milk at our school i think we should we saw a nest that had rubbish from a milk carton in it.

  Should milk at Awapuni school be banned?

I think milk at awapuni school should be banned because the rubbish could fly into the ocean.I have once seen a birds nest full of rubbish from the milk cartons.I strongly believe that when milk gets rotten it smells really bad.

I think we should keep it because milk helps your bones get stronger and milk helps your teeth grow and milk helps your fingernails and toenails grow.I think little kids at awapuni school like school milk not just little kids a lot of other different aged kids.

I think we should band milk at Awapuni school because the rubbish is bad for the ocean and the environment.

In conclusion I think school milk is YUCK!

use plastic bottles 

I think we shouldn't use plastic bottles because you can't recycle the bottle caps.

I think we should use metal bottles because we can wash them and then reuse them.

I strongly believe that school students shouldn’t use plastic water bottles because the caps can come off easily and it will spill in your bag.

people just throw them out and they don't reuse them.Some people keep the labels on them and people would think you're drinking soda.

 In conclusion metal bottles are more durable.

Wild lab

Room 1 walked in the big bright yellow bus and mumbled hello to the bus driver.Curtis and I were bus buddies.We were talking about how Curtis's dad used to steel sugar from the sugar factory.

Finally we were at the Wild lab. Everyone walked up to the big building and saw two people there names were Pete and Ellen.Then they talked about sticking together.After that long talk we were going to go for a walk.We went past a bunch of trees and stopped.

Ellen loudly shouted we were going to go play a very fun game.The game was called pollution,rock,mayfly and crayfish.Pollution and rock won because rock can’t be polluted or defeated.

After that extremely fun game we walked more until Pete stopped and pointed to a huge hill he extendedly mumbled we were going to climb the huge hill.We started walking until we reached the tippy top of the hill.We saw a long beautiful river in the distance.Pete taught us a call that ecos.It sounds like this “kuoee”.

Up on the hill we saw the Mayfly quen.She was wearing a lot of white and she was holding a huge motorized Mayfly.Well we were walking down the steep hill we saw a lot of sheep poo.Once we reached the bottom we saw the Mayfly quen again but this time it was close up.One by one people got to touch the huge motorized Mayfly.

After that extraordinary sight room 1 slowly ran  to a small wavy stream to catch  Mayflies.Misty and tiana ran of and found a rat it took them a long time to get back then they had to let it go.All because of that rat we only had five minutes to catch some Mayflies.All of  the other group caught a lot of Maylies.But we only caught a couple.It was time to go back to school so rm 1 jumped in the big bright bus and went back to school.

should children wear school uniforms?

Should children wear school uniform? Many believe that kids should wear uniforms.Because it is easy for the public to recognise and because it is easy to put on and off.Now here is some reasons why many people think that. Firstly.kids get bullied for mufti clothes because sometimes it's what they where and they might laugh and do other stuff to you.But if that happens don't listen to them. Secondly. Good for sports events if you don't have your uniform on you might get mixed up with different schools if they don't have a uniform and your parents would not now where you are. Finally.uniform looks tidier. I hope you now get my reason why kids should where uniform.

I went in devans shiny awesome car It was a cool car we went to his house.husten was coming to. I got a burger my mouth crunched into it. It was so nice. the cheese was melting in my mouth.

Then we went to devans house it was so fun playing on the play station 4.we played Nerf with all of Devans Nerf guns.

Then we had to go to a meeting we played outside. the sun  looked so beautiful.we played super heroes it was so fun.then after we played at the meeting we had a big feast it was so fun.

When we left school I asked my mom when are we getting bunnies. My mom said we all ready have bunnies I said no we don't she said they are in the boot. I looked in the boot there was a box I looked in side there were little bunnies in the boot the bunnies a so cute we had a shiny pink collar. For the girl bunny there is two i said they were so cute i wanted to lift one. When we got home I got to walk one it was amazing. We bought a cage they were so cute running in there cage. I patted one it was fluffy it felt like a fluffy cloud. It was so soft we called the girl nibbles we called the boy sniper. they have small poops I said to my mom. One pood on me it was so gross. They looked like a fluff ball. One of them were going in the bushes after that we breand them in side they ran behind the big tv. They were snuggling to giver it was so cute i lifted one up it was so cool.
